ResourceSmart Schools is a Victorian Government initiative that helps schools benefit from embedding sustainability in everything they do.
St Peter’s Primary School is proud to be involved in the ResourceSmart Schools Program. In 2011, we joined the program to highlight our commitment to education for sustainability and positive behavior change. We have been proud of all we have achieved in this time, including completing all modules (core, biodiversity, waste, water and energy), gaining 5 star certification and being listed as state wide finalists for the ResourceSmart Awards in the categories of Community Leadership School of the Year and Teacher of the Year (Emma Canning) in 2015. We successfully walked away with the honour of being named Community Leadership School of the Year.
We welcome the opportunity to showcase and share our journey with others. Should you like further information, please contact Emma Canning on firstname.lastname@example.org
