St Peter’s Education Board

Membership of the Board provides each person with the opportunity to share in proclaiming the Good News, in building the community of the parish and school and in supporting the process of policy formation which will provide for the development of educational opportunities in the school and parish.

Aim

The Board plays a key role in enhancing the partnership between school and family within the local Catholic Community. It assists and supports the Parish Priest, Principal and staff of the school.

Function

The Board’s primary functions are to:

  • Provide leadership for the school and promote catholic education
  • Act as an advisory body on all matters concerning education in the school.
  • Contribute, develop, implement and monitor Board Action Plan.
  • Collaborate where appropriate with other parent and parish groups within the school community.

Membership consists of:

  • Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • General Members
  • Principal
  • Parish Priest
  • Deputy Principal
  • Staff Representative
