How to enrol

We pride ourselves on our inclusive and welcoming environment. As a Catholic, co-educational school, we cater to students from Prep to Year 6. Our school is open to all individuals seeking to be a part of our educational community. We extend a heartfelt welcome to families who desire their child to receive the benefits of a Catholic education.


Our main year of intake is in Prep, however, students are accepted into all year levels where vacancies exist. Class sizes vary in order to cater for all students and are capped at the discretion of the Principal.


Prep Enrolments

Children must turn 5 years of age by the 30th of April in the year they are commencing school.


Enrolment Application Forms should be accompanied by:

  • Immunisation Certificate

  • Birth Certificate

  • Baptismal Certificate

Places at St Peter’s are offered in accordance with the school’s - link the enrolment policy 

New Enrolments at Other Year Levels

Families are welcome to make an appointment to tour the school and meet with the Principal. Parents of new applicants are required to complete the Enrolment Application Form and attend a meeting with the principal.

  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.

Enrolment timeline

Enrolment Timeline for 2024 (for Prep 2025 Intake)

  • Thursday, 14th March, 6:30 pm School Expo (Open to all new families wishing to know more about St Peter's and what our school offers) 

  • Week commencing 1st May - Applicant conversations begin

  • Friday 17th May - First round of Prep 2025 acceptance offers sent out

  • Friday 24th May - Closing date for acceptances to be returned

  • Wednesday 9th October, 6:30 pm - Prep Parent Information Evening

  • Wednesday 6th November, 9:15 - 10:30am - Prep Orientation Session 1

  • Tuesday 12th November, 9:15 - 10:30am - Prep Orientation Session 2, reading to your child workshop

  • Monday 18th November, 9:15 - 10:30am - Prep Orientation Session 3 - numeracy with your child workshop 


General Transition Arrangement

  • During Term 4 teachers will contact the kindergartens / day care centres about your child as part of the transition process.

  • During Term 4 children commence their orientation visits to school according to the prep timeline above.

  • Please note your child will be required to attend all three sessions.

School Uniform


Academy Uniforms is located at 238 Wolseley Place in Thomastown, opening hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, Saturday 9am - 12pm. Tel 9460 8011. A full list of uniform items and prices can be found here.


Parents are encouraged to book a time to attend a uniform fitting before the end of the year to purchase their child’s uniform for 2025.  Their experienced staff will allow for plenty of growth.

TheirCare delivers high quality Outside School Hours Care. We exist to enrich communities. Our Educators are qualified, caring, open and engaged. We understand Aussie families. We are here for you and your family, all year round.

TheirCare is support for children to develop their self-esteem and confidence. Within the program there are possibilities for children to start a new interest or hobby, learn a new sport, and to share their interests and skills with others.
